Making an Offer.
Will the seller accept?
Once you’ve seen a few properties, you’ll decide which one you like best. Your
Michigan Home Buyers Association Real Estate Specialist will help you prepare an Offer.
We start with providing you information on other similar homes in the same area and the prices they sold for in recent months. This will help you determine a good amount to offer on the house you like. Some seller’s will accept less than their full asking price, and others will not. Their are many factors involved in evaluating the seller’s motivation to sell, and each situation is different.
Your Real Estate Specialist will assist you in assessing what amount to offer, as well as including other important “terms” and “conditions” in your offer. Certain wording must be contained in your Offer to protect your best interests as a buyer.
When you have narrowed your home search down to the house you like best, your MHBA Real Estate Specialist will use their expertise in helping you structure a good offer and help you negotiate it with the seller and their agent.
